Did You Know the following is Effective for 2024? 

1) W4 Form: The Internal Revenue Service released the final version of Form W-4. 
     > Any employee hired on or after Jan. 1, 2024 will be required to complete the 2023 W-4, plus any employees who wish to make changes to their tax withholding's in 2024. Anyone hired prior to 2024 and those individuals not wanting to change their withholding do not have to complete a new W-4. 
 

2)  Effective September 30, 2024 Florida Minimum Wage increased from: $13.00 to $12.00 per hour. 

The Florida  State minimum wage is scheduled to increase to $14.00 on September 30, 2025

3) Salary Threshold change: 

 

> The salary threshold for the Executive, Administrative, and Professional exemptions under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) increased from $35,568 ($684 per week) to $43,888 ($844 per week) effective July 01, 2024.
